Welcome to the European Garage Equipment Association's Website

The European Garage Equipment Association was founded in 1980 and regroups 11 national professional organisations representing the interests of both manufacturers and importers of garage and test equipment towards European and International institutions.

EGEA's role is to provide increased influence, better information, stronger support and a healthier environment for the garage and test equipment industry throughout Europe!

Our objectives

To achieve these goals, it is EGEA's mission to:

• achieve a high level of quality for products and test procedures;
• uphold stringent safety rules;
• create common rules in the design, manufacturing, installation, servicing and operation of garage and test equipment;
• facilitate the exchange of information on existing and proposed European and national standards.
